The assembly is designed to bolt onto to truck chassis, and it features a pin to lock the shackle to the actual mount.We're looking at a durable, black, powder-coated finish for maximum corrosion resistance. A few things I wanna mention for you real quick .. is the inner diameter of this area here.
That gives us an inner diameter of two and three quarter inches. The actual shackle diameter is seven eighths of an inch. The mount gives us an overall width measurement from edge to edge of around six inches. And, then, an overall height measurement of around five inches tall.Now, the mount holes right here .. these two mount holes are separated on center by four and three eighths inches straight across.
This one to this one and this one to this one . these are separated on center by three and five eighths inches. Once installed . from the back of the mounting plate to the outer most part of the unit with the shackle hanging down .. so, not in use ...
it's gonna stick out from the installation surface about three and a half inches. And, it features a safe working load limit of 18,000 pounds. That's gonna do it for today's look at the drop forged heavy duty towing shackle.
